Holiday Collection Schedule

SLIDE* holidays for the 2008-2009 holiday season are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

*SLIDE:garbage, recycling and yard trimmings collection "slides" to one day later if your collection falls on or after the holidays listed below.

New Holiday Slide Schedule

Thanksgiving Day, if your collection day is Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, it will slide to Friday, Nov. 27, 2009
The day after Thanksgiving, if your collection day is Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, it will slide to Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009
Christmas Day, if your collection day is Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, it will slide to Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009
New Year's Day, If your collection day is Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, it will slide to Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010

Household Hazardous Waste Facility

The Household Hazardous Waste Facility is open the first Saturday of every month from 7 a.m. to Noon, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m. Most holidays do not affect its hours. However, the facility will be closed the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas.

The Bulk Collection Schedule and the Large Brush Collection Schedule are not published online to discourage illegal scavenging and dumping.
