Recycling Metal

Rinse the following containers and put them in your Single Stream Recycling cart with all of your other recyclables

• Aluminum cans, such as soda cans
• Tin & steel cans, such as soup cans and tuna cans
• Empty aerosol cans
• Metal lids from glass jars

Keep these metals out of your recycling cart.

• Aluminum foil
• Coat hangers
• Helium containers
• Paint and solvent containers
• Scrap metal (nails, screws, gutters, etc.)

Recyclable Items

• Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, office paper and boxboard
• Aluminum, steel & tin cans
• Glass bottles and jars, all colors
• Rigid plastics (#1 - #7)
• Corrugated cardboard
