The Reuse Store at the
Household Hazardous Waste Facility

Often the cost to dispose of a chemical safely is greater than the original purchase price. Each week, many brand new or slightly used items are brought to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Instead of disposing of these products, the facility gives them to residents who can use them.

From October 2007 to September 2008, the Reuse Store and Old Paint Program saved approximately $9,000.00 through reduced disposal costs.

Come and see if the center has anything you need. Products may include paint, solvents, automotive fluids, pesticides, fertilizers, cleaning products and other chemicals. Items are free.

The Reuse Store is located at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 2514 Business Center Drive. The Reuse Store is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Noon to 6 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
