Big Projects Preview and Networking Session
The subjects and/or projects discussed on Wednesday night included:
- Public Works presented the proposed 2010 construction projects
- The Boathouse project at the Waller Creek Tunnel. The Boathouse is the first phase of a multi year project. Attention truckers and haulers: will need several of you to help move debris and materials on this project, so please keep your information current and monitor emails and the weekly Bid Briefs.
- Playscape and Splashguard Opportunities with the Parks and Recreation Department
- Group 3 Northeast Residential Street Reconstruction Project (CLMC 109) - Project Manager Rick Colbrunn talked about the available scopes on this project with a Construction Estimate of $6,833,966
- South I35, Segment 2/5 I35 Slaughter & Onion Creek Crossing (CLMC 128) - Project Manager Jon Thompson and URS Program Manager Lizan Gilbert presented current work and highlighted future plans for the project. The Construction Estimate for this phase of the project is $10,461,121 see attachment for more information.
