University Hills Branch Library to Host Black History Month Program

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 15, 1999

On Saturday, February 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., the University Hills Branch of the Austin Public Library, 4721 Loyola Lane, will host a Black History Month Program.

Author and nationally acclaimed storyteller Marian E. Barnes will be the Mistress of Ceremonies. Guest speakers will include Austin City Council Member Willie Lewis, actress/director/producer Cynthia Taylor Edwards; Executive Director of Austin Free-Net, Ana Sisnett; and the gospel singing group Stars of Faith.

Artwork by Winn Elementary School students will be on display. Other features include storytelling and crafts for children. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
