Changes to APL Policy, Effective October 1, 2009

The following two changes to Austin Public Library Policy will take effect on October 1, 2009.

• As part of the 2009-2010 Library Budget, the Library will begin charging for holds not picked up within the allotted 10 calendar day hold period. Accounts will be charged a $1.00 fee per item that is not picked up.
• The loan period for DVDs and VHS tapes will be extended to 3 weeks, but, due to high demand, there will be no renewal option for these items.
