Consumer Reports, The New Yorker, Art in America, Texas Monthly, Mothering, Money, Real Simple, Highlights for Children, PC World, The Atlantic, Psychology Today, and hundreds of other magazines are available in full text through the MasterFILE Premier database! Many are available in pdf format with images.
Before you buy that new refrigerator or used car, check the current issues of Consumer Reports online by logging into MasterFILE Premier from the Library’s Web site. All you need is your Austin Public Library Card!
Misplaced the New Yorker with that article you wanted to read again? Find it online in MasterFILE Premier and email it to yourself or print it to read at your leisure. All you need is your Austin Public Library Card.
Want to read the article about the Austin art scene in Art in America? Or restaurant reviews from the newest Texas Monthly? Looking for that recipe for Black Magic Cake you saw in the Good Housekeeping magazine at the dentist’s office? Search MasterFILE Premier from your kitchen.
Search for individual publications within MasterFILE Premier by clicking on the publications tab in the top menu bar and then typing the title of the magazine in the search box. You can also search by subject by typing in a key word like finance or children’s to find a list of titles on the topic included in MasterFILE Premier. Be sure to note if the title is full text. If MasterFILE Premier doesn’t have the title you need, check eJournal Finder which lists all full-text titles available in APL’s databases.
