A Celebration of Trees and Trails at the Hampton Branch at Oak Hill
Presentation by the City of Austin for the 2007 Tree of the Year

On Saturday, November 17, 2007 the Hampton Branch at Oak Hill will host a celebration of Trees and Trails. Join in this nature appreciation event at Hampton Branch Library located in southwest Austin at 5125 Convict Hill Road at 10 a.m. Begins with the dedication of a new trailhead by the Rotary Club of Austin-Oak Hill, followed by a nature tour and City of Austin's TREE OF THE YEAR 2007 celebration. Saplings will be given away by TreeFolks. The new "Tree Growing Guide for Central Texas" tree poster will also be given to attendees. The illustrator, Robert O'Brien will be on hand to sign the posters. Music by Mr. Habitat. Free and open to the public. For additional information call 892.6680.
