Austin Public Library Item Reserve Limit Change
Starting December 1, 2003 the ITEM RESERVE LIMIT will change from 10 items to 5 items
per Library Card.
Customers with more than 5 reserves on December 1 will not lose any of their reserves. They will be unable to make additional reserves until they are below the new (5 items) reserve limit.
The popularity of online reserves has doubled the volume of activity in the last year and has created a backlog in transferring items between branches.
We regret any inconvenience this new limit may cause.
