MARY WILLIS WALKER TO SPEAK AT YARBOROUGH BRANCH

The Yarborough Branch of the Austin Public Library, 2200 Hancock Drive, will host a monthly mystery author series, beginning on Wednesday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m. Local mystery author, Mary Willis Walker, will be the first in the series, which is sponsored by the Austin Public Library Foundation and the Heart of Texas Chapter of Sisters in Crime.

Ms. Walker is the author of such best-selling books as The Red Scream, Under the Beetle's Cellar, Zero at the Bone, and All the Dead Lie Down. Her books have won numerous awards, including the 1994 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America, for The Red Scream.

The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
