Animal Adoptions Go Virtual

These days there are multiple ways for people to shop around for animals they wish to adopt. And now the Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department’s Town Lake Animal Center (TLAC) has added one more vehicle—virtual adoption. A virtual adoption site has been created to serve as a portal for finding homes for even more animals. Interested customers can now visit www.getapetnow.com and survey available animals, get familiar with the adoption process, and download all necessary forms.

The Town Lake Animal Center also encourages and invites local businesses to help save animals by promoting this site on their web pages and sharing it with their clients and business partners.
