Small Business Assistance
Neighborhood Commercial Management Program
The Neighborhood Commercial Management Program (NCMP) provides financial assistance in the form of business loans to existing businesses looking to expand their operations. Firms that have been in existence for two or more years can apply for the NCMP loan. The loan provides money for acquisition of land and improvements, construction of a new building, leasehold improvements, and purchasing machinery and equipment. The program is available city wide, but does recognize several priority areas.
Façade Improvement Program
The Façade Improvement Program provides financial assistance in the form of matching grant funds to eligible property owners with commercial buildings located in the designated East Austin program corridors that are seeking to improve, renovate, or restore their commercial building
